Blue Ridge Parking Lot
First four hours were awesome but it ground to a stop around Blowing Rock and eventually I had to abandon the drive. Worse than Lake Shore Drive north out of the Loop at rush hour! Literally!

Still Quiet 10:30 and arrived at the office. The guy at the camera shop was very wound up but otherwise it is still quiet.
